The Royal Hospital is owned and managed by the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman. Commissioned in 1987 under the renaissance program of the government of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, it was a major milestone in the development of health services in the Sultanate during this prosperous period in Oman’s contemporary history.
